Relying upon its experience in resin formulation,
STRUCTIL offers a wide range of
prepregs suitable for various moulding conditions.
These prepregs are based upon three main
resin systems:
epoxy prepregs
- with the R366T transparent resin for the
realisation from 80 °C of cosmetic pieces |
- with 120 °C cure resins (R367, R368 and R1035)
for realisation of solid laminates or sandwich structures. The fire-retardant
R367F version allows the moulding of pieces meeting the present
fire/smoke standards. The fire-retardant, fast cure R1156 version
allows productions with short cure cycle (10-15 minutes at 140°C).
- with 180 °C cure resins, DA 508 for the manufacture
of aircraft parts and R370 specially designed for moulding industrial
parts working at high temperature
"high temperature" prepregs with the R1133 bismaleimide
(BMI) resin for parts working up to 200 °C, or
the PMR15 polyimide resin for parts working up to 300 °C.
These prepregs can be offered as :
U.D.tapes:
- carbon fibres : HS, IM, HM pan types, pitch types
- glass fibres
- aramid fibres
Standard widths of 300 and 600 mm, others on request.
Dry fibre surfacic weight of 70 g to 700 g/m²
Fabrics
- carbon fibres
- glass fibres
- aramid fibres
Standard widths of 1200 and 1270 mm, others on request.
Dry fibre surfacic weight from 25 g/m²
Weave : plain, twill, satin, bias, UD, multiaxial
Special prepregs :
- fabrics prepregs with controlled dielectric
properties thermoset resins, for production of
low radar cross section composite structures
(SERFAX absorbing prepregs) or radar transparent composites
structures (antenna radomes).
